Project Manager

Due to ongoing demands DWM are now seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Project Management Team who will help us to maintain the first class deliverables that we offer to our customers.
Primary Objective of the role of Project Manager

As an experienced Project Manager you will be an integral part of DWM. This is an exciting career opportunity for a team player who is keen to demonstrate their skills and passionate about delivering a first class service.

You will be responsible for organising and overseeing all the elements involved within various projects in the Electrical division and be accountable for the level of the division’s success. Some projects may include Infrastructure, Audio Visual and Security services which will provide a good insight to other key areas of the business and broaden your knowledge base.

You will ensure that projects run smoothly from start to finish, ensuring projects are completed within schedule and budgets, and to customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

Essential

• Proven Project Management experience
• City & Guilds 2330 Level 3, Certificate in Electro Technology
• City & Guilds 2382, 17 edition wiring regulations

• The understanding and defining of goals within a project
• Project Evaluation & Re-Engineering
• Project programming & resource/materials planning & management
• RAMS & Engineer Handovers
• The supervision of all on-site staff (Internal and Sub-Contractors)
• Responsibility for on-site Quality Control compliance
• Responsibility for on-site Health and Safety compliance
• Regular and professional interaction with key clients
• Provide technical support to internal staff
• Liaison with our Operations Team at management meetings
• Job audits, re-evaluations and budget analysis, presenting statistics to the management team
• Ensure accurate and timely completion of all tasks and paperwork

Audio Visual Engineer

Due to our success and ongoing expansion within our Audio Visual department, DWM are now seeking further recruits at all levels to join our team of AV professionals.

Primary Objective of the role of Audio Visual Engineer

To carry out reactive and planned audio visual installations, commissioning, servicing and maintenance to all internal and external clients in various sectors including commercial, domestic and education.

The ideal candidate will hold a City & Guilds qualification in Electro Technology and Wiring Regulations and be looking to diversify their career and expand their knowledge base by learning all aspects of audio visual installation processes to complement their existing skills.

This role allows the opportunity to demonstrate your existing skills and rewards fantastic career prospects.

Qualifications

Dimensions of the role

• Installation of a variety of Audio Visual Equipment
• Testing, Fault Finding, Commissioning and Maintenance
• Liaising with Project Managers/Senior Engineers to ensure successful completion of works
• Professional and effective communication with management, colleagues and customers

Description of the role

• Installation of commercial, domestic and education AV equipment including but not limited to projectors, displays, sound systems, and equipment racks etc.
• Testing, fault finding, commissioning and maintenance of AV systems
• Liaising with Project Managers/Senior Engineers to ensure successful completion of works
• Management of task allocation, time frames and workflow
• Carry out works to a high standard and in a competent manner, meeting customer satisfaction
• Contribute to the achievement of project targets
• Provide the highest level of customer service
• To work together with the team to resolve technical issues
• Liaising with other internal departments, clients and contractors
• To utilise all equipment correctly, as directed and in accordance with manufacture guidelines
• Understand, interpret and update schematics and drawings/documentation
• Provide regular updates to the Project/Operations Manager on project development
• Forecasting and ordering of materials in liaison with the Project/Purchasing Manager
• Ensure accurate and timely completion of all paperwork including job packs and delivery notes and the maintaining of accurate records of the onsite installation
• Ensure photographic evidence of install is taken and downloaded on completion of jobs
• Ensure that any required qualifications for your position remain valid and to ensure that any necessary training is arranged and undertaken within the specified timescales
• To attend meetings, training sessions, health and awareness training and meetings i.e. ‘tool box talks’ and conferences as required
• To act at all times in accordance with the Company’s rules, policies and procedures including the Company’s Health and Safety Policies and Procedures
