FUNDRAISING EVENTS

After yet another successful fundraising year in 2010 we are pleased to announce that we will be holding our 2011 fundraising golf day on Friday 16th September 2011 at Pavenham Park Golf Club, Pavenham, Bedford, MK43 7PE.

This challenging Par 72, 18-hole Golf Course measures 6,467 yards off the Tiger Tees and sits in the middle of the Bedfordshire countryside, providing spectacular views of the surrounding Villiages and woodlands.

This years lucky winners of our 2011 draw are Westfield Middle School, Bedford. We have already spoken to the Head Teacher of Westfield Middle School who is delighted to have been selected from our draw and is looking forward to meeting the team and receiving their cheque which will be equivalent to the total value monies that we are able to raise on our fundraising day.

As you will all agree, this is a great cause and DWM feel very priveleged to be able to contribute to our local community

We have some great organisations attending this year such as Stagecoach, Number 8 Homes, Oxford University, XMA Limited and London Luton Airport to name a few, and we would like to thank each and every member for their continued support.

Beat the Pro (Entry £5.00+)
Take your chance to beat the pro. Any golfer who beats the Pro's tee shot will win back their stake - and their pride!

Tee shots that find the green will be measured throughout the day for distance from the flagstick. At the end of the day, the golfer with the best tee shot - the one closest to the pin - wins a prize.

WIN A CAR Hole in One
The odds on most golfers hitting a hole in one in their lifetime are astronomical - Beat the odds and win yourself an Audi by hitting a Hole in One!

We have some great prizes to be won in our evening raffle, a great way to help us raise as much money as possible.

Golfers Beware!
Buckets will be positioned at Holes 8 and 16 and will fine you £2.00 if you miss the green!

The 18 hole round and evening dinner will be funded by DWM. All proceeds of the day will be donated so please dig deep in your pockets and help us make this day a huge success.
